Jinx Manga Chapter 9 will focus on the events that led to Kim hitting Jaekyung in the jaw. But how did this happen? Earlier in the last chapter, Kim was introduced to the gym Jaekyung worked at. Kim Dan was introduced as his physical therapist and was later announced as one of their seniors in age.
Though it earned him the respect of most MMA fighters, Jaekyung was quiet on the matter and watched from the sidelines. Kim Dan also observes Jaenhyuk and watches his training unfold. He notices despite his personality, and he is a great fighter.
Kim Dan later notices one of the fighters having a problem with his shoulder and offers to help him. The other fighter also got in line and asked Kim Dan to help them with their physical check-up. Jae-hyuk stays quiet for this time as well but soon decides he wants the doctor all for himself.
He asks Kim Dan to come to him in the shower but is scolded by his coach for not being respectful towards Kim. Jaenhyuk had to pretend to be honorable until the coach was satisfied with it or less dissatisfied with his behavior. But for Kim Dan, the dissatisfaction was about to begin.

When the two are about to get discovered in the act of Kim Dan being mentally assaulted, he turns on the showers and convinces others to do the same. This created a muffle that didn’t let any voice escape, to Kim Dan’s dismay, and in the end, Kim Dan is left with a feeling of emptiness with nowhere to run to.
